Ideas for choosing work and ideas for your reflections:

  • Choose work that shows you as an effective problem solver.
  1. This can mean that you solve academic problems.
  2. This can mean that you solve group problems well.
  • Choose work that shows you as an effective team member.
  1. You can communicate effectively with your team.
  2. You share ideas with your team.
  3. You help your team (you don't just give them answers).
  4. You contribute, you do your own share. You don't just sit back and let others do all the work.
  5. You are with your team; you don't wander off.
  6. You encourage and praise your teammates.
  • Choose work that shows you as an effective researcher (Internet, text, magazine, newspaper, television, or other).
  1. That means that you can read to pull out information that you or your team will need.
  2. You can also reword the information in a way that shows that you understand it and can use it.
  3. You did not just copy what you read word for word.
