By using an RSS reader you can just need to check reader and see quickly if any of the webpages you subscribe to have been updated. If there have been no updates then you do not have to bother going to those webpages and seeing that there’s nothing new! So you can keep track of my main page, this podcast page, our class blog page and any student’s personal blog page all in one reader.

The Informed Consent Agreement is a form filled out every year by students and parents. It is necessary to have one of these on file for every student to allow them access to our network and the Internet. If a student missed the lesson, please watch this video. If as a parent you want to see what this agreement is all about, watch this video. It’s about 10 1/2 minutes long.

Not only did they beat us in getting a satellite into orbit around the our planet, but they showed that since they could launch rockets into space they could use their rockets to launch a nuclear attack against our country. America had to respond but failed to launch it’s own satellite into space. While we were failing to get our rockets off the ground Russia put a dog into orbit! America was losing status around the world. So what was the plan, the plan that eventually led to us winning the space race by landing on the moon? Education. Not just education but a strong focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). We’re feeling the push again towards stressing the importance of STEM education in our country.
