Early Release

Another important issue parents should be aware of is that 6th grade teachers are beginning to keep track of when students are not following directions. If students consistently do not follow directions, or do not take responsibility for school work, they will not be allowed to attend remaining 6th grade events (end of the year talent show, BBQ, and dance). A student would have to get many strikes to miss out on everything. Beyond that, students will be spending their last days as 6th graders in in-house suspension. It is not fair for those many students who follow directions consistently and keep up with their schoolwork regularly. It's time for our 6th graders to take responsibility for their actions.
