Mr. González' Classes Homework
Week 3, 9/18 to 9/22

Math, Course I
Tuesday - Study Guide 1-3 (front-end estimation). We also practiced multiplying with one and two digits (students are encouraged to practice this at home for mastery).

Thursday - Study Guide 1-4, we also practiced division in class from page 541 (more practice is recommended).

Make sure your Calories data for that first full week is complete (add how many calories you consumed and how many you burned off so we can graph the results - check last week for the website we used).

Science 2 (González)
Tuesday - Students are working on learning their section of chapter one so they can teach it to their small groups. Students need to include visual aids to help their small group learn the concepts and the vocabulary.

Thursday - We are still working on preparing the presentations. Each student needs to create their own visual aids to teach their small group their section out of the book.

Social Studies
Monday - We are going to make PowerPoint presentations of the issues students chose for the presidential candidates. Any information students can get at home really helps.

Wednesday - Keep looking for any information on the issue(s) you are researching (use magazines, newpapers, or TV news).

Friday - Same as Wednesday.

Science 3 (Bankhead)
Monday - Students are working on learning their section of chapter one so they can teach it to their small groups. Students need to include visual aids to help their small group learn the concepts and the vocabulary.

Wednesday - Practice your presentation (know what you are going to say to your small group and know how you are going to say it).

Friday - We are still working on preparing the presentations. Each student needs to create their own visual aids to teach their small group their section out of the book. This has to be completed by Tuesday so they can start teaching.
