Mr. González' Classes Homework/ Daily Activities Week 10, 1/21 to 1/25 (This may change from day to day depending on how much we actually get done in class so check back often to make sure something wasn't changed at the last minute.) This is the last week of the quarter. As groups finish their Final Presentations, students will get a progress report showing their grade for second quarter (by Fri and Mon or Tues of next week). Blocks A/B Monday - 1/21 - No School today, Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday. Wednesday - A block ends with Second Step, B block begins with Second Step. In A block, Huck will do their final presentation. In B Block, Kiwi and Huck will do their final presentations. We did not have to begin the water quality research today, so we will begin Friday. Groups did some cool activities on the Rainforest Virtual Field trip. HW - None Friday - Today we are going to read about earthquakes (p. 154)! We will review our reading strategies, then we will do a lab on the speed of earthquake waves. HW - None Blocks C/D Tuesday -Finish the Final Presentation for a grade (a BIG GRADE). Groups that are done need to go on a Rainforest Virtual Field trip while those that aren't finished get ready. When done with that field trip, take the Salt Marshes field trip. C Bl - Raspberry is the only group left to present. D Bl - Lime, Blueberry, First and Strawberry left to present. HW - None Thursday - C block ends with Second Step, D block begins with Second Step. In C block, Raspberry will do their final presentation. In D Block, Lime, Blueberry, First, and Strawberry will do their final presentation. HW - None Computers 2 This week: Students will upload their sites, test them to make sure they work, and score them this week.
