Monday -
Intro to 6th Grade Science
PowerPoint presentation. Students will get several handouts today
(I know, it's a lot to read, but
please read them or save them because they have have tons of information
about my class - see today's HW below).
HW - Read and
sign handouts with parents. Class

Tuesday -
Every class starts with students
filling out their planners and then doing a science opening activity.
Today I will
finish my 6th grade introduction PowerPoint presentation, which
lets my students know about their first middle school year in
science. Please see my plan
for this year.
HW - Get
Internet
Informed Consent Agreement, 6th
grade Lab Safety Contract, and National
Board Certification letter and permission signed
and turned in if not yet.
Wednesday
- Every
class starts with students filling out their planners and then
doing a science opening activity.
Today we will
review our network policy from the Informed
Consent Agreement
that parents and students signed. Then we will go over the Laboratory
Safety rules.
HW - Get the
6th grade Lab Safety Contract
signed.
Get
Internet
Informed Consent Agreement, and National
Board Certification letter and permission signed
and turned in IF NOT YET.
Thursday
- Every class starts
with students filling out their planners and then doing a science
opening activity.
Students will
take a short Science Survey.
Then students will complete a sheet of safety scenarios (Lab
Safety - Critical Thinking and Applications).

Friday -
Every class starts with
students filling out their planners and then doing a science opening
activity.
Today we will
finish yesterday's Lab Safety Sheet, then we will complete some
activities on the SCIENTIFIC PROCESS.
Defining Elements of a
Scientific Method.
HW - Cispus
permission and medical forms need to be filled out, signed and
turned in to the Homeroom teachers by Monday.
