1st per - 7:45am to 8:37am
2nd per - 8:41am to 9:33am
3rd per - 9:37am to 10:29am
Eagle Time - 10:33am to 11:00am
Lunch - 11:00am to 11:32am
4th per - 11:36am to 12:28pm
5th per - 12:32pm to 1:24pm
6th per - 1:28pm to 2:20pm

6th grade Science:

Monday - I will have a sub today while I go to Seattle to work with WA STEM teachers. I get to do a quick presentation on using social networking to learn.
Today students will work on the water cycle activity. I will check on their work tomorrow to see how many are ready to share their work.
Students will also continue to read each other's blog work (peer evaluation practice), check the class social network to respond to questions and/or add questions of their own.

Tuesday - Today we will check and see where we are with regards to finishing the water cycle activity.
HW - None
Wednesday - Students got to try out the quiz game that some of their peers made. Those who still need time to finish their water cycle activity will be able to keep working on that.
HW - None
Thursday - Students who are ready to move on will be taking a project reflection survey today. Then they will begin the Salmon Life Cycle Webquest. Those who still need time to finish their water cycle activity will be able to keep working on that.

Friday - Same as yesterday.

8th grade Science:

Monday - I will have a sub today while I go to Seattle to work with WA STEM teachers. I get to do a quick presentation on using social networking to learn.
Today students will respond to an assessment probe about cells to see what they know already. Then they will watch a video about cells to see if they were right.

Tuesday - Today 8th graders are going peer assess their Unit 1 Assessment work.
Then we are going to learn a few things about using microscopes.
HW - None
Wednesday - Today we will continue our work learning about microscopes. Students are learning to use our compound microscopes that can magnify 40x, 100x and 400x's.
We will review pg 9 from the packet and then complete pgs 11 & 12.
3rd period set the fish traps today.
HW - None
Thursday - Same as yesterday.
3rd period retrieved fish traps to ID and count the fish we caught.
HW - None
Friday - Same as yesterday. By today we should be finished with page 12. Students are recording their answers in their notebooks.
