Week 8, 2/6 to 2/10

Midterm was last week so by the end of this week I shall have student progress reports posted online (that's different from the Skyward pass). Students will have the choice of having a different mark on Skyward by the end of the term.

1st per - 7:45am to 8:37am
2nd per - 8:41am to 9:33am
3rd per - 9:37am to 10:29am
Eagle Time - 10:33am to 11:00am
Lunch - 11:00am to 11:32am
4th per - 11:36am to 12:28pm
5th per - 12:32pm to 1:24pm
6th per - 1:28pm to 2:20pm

6th grade Science:

Monday - Today I am going to show students how to use Google Spreadsheets to graph their water quality data.
HW - None
Tuesday - Today I will have periods 1 and 5 due to our early release schedule.
Today students will finish graphing their water quality data. Then teams of same water quality jobs will work together to prepare their presentations to teach the rest of the class what they learned. They will create Google Doc Presentations.

Wednesday - Today I will have period 6 due to our early release schedule.
Today students will finish graphing their water quality data. Then teams of same water quality jobs will work together to prepare their presentations to teach the rest of the class what they learned. They will create Google Doc Presentations.

Thursday - Today students will continue to graph their data (they are graphing the data we collected during the month of December as well as graphing their parameter over the last ten years).
Then students are working on uploading their graphs so that they can put them on their blogs.

Friday - Today I'm going to show students how to use Google Presentation to put together their water quality parameter presentations to teach the class what they learned. Students will also have time to finish their graphing work.

8th grade Science:

Monday - Today students will finish and publish their bacteria in school lab conclusions. Then they will work on their cell Science standards self-assessments.
HW - None
Tuesday - Today I will have period 3 due to our early release schedule.
Period 3 will have some time to finish their work from yesterday as well as to read the different conclusions from period 4 so they can see what they got and to leave them feedback.

Wednesday - Today I will have period 4 due to our early release schedule.
Period 4 will have some time to finish their work from Monday as well as to read the different conclusions from period 3 so they can see what they got and to leave them feedback.

Thursday - Today students need to upload their cells standards assessment so that I can see them.

Friday - Today I will give students time to finish this week's work, which includes reading each other's blogs and leaving feedback comments.
