Lunch - 11:00am to 11:32am

5th per - 12:32pm to 1:24pm

6th grade Science:

Monday - Today is Memorial Day and there is no school! Have a wonderful day!

HW - None unless you still need to turn in your signed field trip permission for the June 1st Youth Summit field trip (that’s this Friday).

Tuesday - Today we will be checking last week’s work with simple machines and Newton’s Laws.

I will also collect any permission slips still due for Friday’s field trip.

HW - Same as Monday.

Wednesday - Today we will start to prepare for the sharing circles part of Friday’s field trip by making posters in our water quality groups so they can share their results.

HW - Same as Monday.

Thursday - Preparing for tomorrow’s field trip continued.

HW - Don’t forget to pack your waste-free lunch.

Friday - Today we will be going to the Youth Summit field trip in Belfair.

HW - None


8th grade Science:

Monday - Today is Memorial Day and there is no school! Have a wonderful day!

HW - None

Tuesday - Today students will reflect on their Odyssey experience on their blogs.

Then we will complete our study of snails by working on Diversity of Life notebook pages 52 and 53 called Gliding Through Life.

HW - None

Wednesday - Today students will finish answering the Gliding Through Life questions (there are only 10 questions).

HW - None

Thursday - Today we will go over the answers to the Gliding Through Life questions. (3rd period spent the period in the high school with their new advisories.)

HW - None

Friday - I will have a sub today while I go on field trip with the 6th graders.

Students will begin studying insects by completing Diversity of Life notebook pages 56 and 57 called Insect Adaptations.


HW - None
