Some of you might remember last year's volcano projects. This project will be quite similar. We will be blogging about the Gulf Oil Spill to share information with a 5th grade class.
As a team decide how you are going to answer your questions and how you are going to share that with the class.
Some ideas from last year of ways you can show what you've learned are,
- make a poster or other decorations for the classroom and the walls outside
- write a letter (maybe even to someone in the government or BP
- make a service announcement
- make drawings for your blog
- make animated graphics on the computer
- make a comic book
- write a report (on paper or typed)
- Record a podcast or voldcast
- or anything else you might think of!
Click here for some resources to help you create your final product.
Use this site to make sure your research is going well. This is a cool website that breaks down researching into parts and provides links to help for each part of the process!
If you need help, here's what I'm here to do for you (or what the sub can do to help you when I'm at Cispus):
- Resource for information, questions, and ideas.
- Technology help (maybe).
- Help you stay focused.
- Help you improve your finished product.
Once you are all done you can start typing your blog article to share what you've learned. I will start approving blogs when I return from Cispus.
