Powerpoint Project

1. Your group will choose or be given one of the seven Internet topics to research and learn.

2. Go to the PowerPoint topics page and read through the sites Mr. González found for you. If you need to, do an Internet search for more information on your topic. Read through your topic and learn everythig there is to know about it. Copy and paste notes from your research to a word processing program like AppleWorks. Save any pictures you find that you might want to use in your folder. Your group will teach your topic to the class.

3. Once everyone is ready, Mr. González will teach you PowerPoint.

4. Create a PowerPoint slideshow on your topic. Include:

- A title slide (page) with all the team member's name on it (first names only).

 

- The correct content, check with Mr. González to make sure you are on the right track.

- Results or information researched, in your own words.

- Drawings and/or pictures must have something to do with your topic.

- Use transitions and effects but don't go overboard.

- Add sounds and/or music, maybe even video.

 

- And finally, have an accurate bibliography (Mr. González will show you how).

5. Show Mr. González when you are done. Then prepare to present your slideshow to the class. Each person on the team must take turns presenting to the class. You will be assessing your own project based on the following rubrics.
