Mr. González' Classes Homework/Daily Activities Week 9, 4/7 to 4/11 (This may change from day to day depending on how much we actually get done in class so check back often to make sure something wasn't changed at the last minute.) This is the last week of third quarter! Progress Reports were handed out on Monday, 4/7, giving students until Friday, 4/11, to fix anything to raise their grades. 6th Grade Science Monday - Today we will continue to work on the Geometric Description of Trees activity. Progress Reports were handed out today. If students do nothing, the grade on the progress report will be the report card grade. Students have until Friday, 4/11, to fix anything, make-up anything or do any extra credit to raise their grades. HW - None Tuesday - Today we will finish the Geometric Description of Trees activity. HW - None Wednesday - Today we will do a Flow Count activity to see how trees create branches, which in turn keeps the water and nutrients flowing to all parts of the tree. HW - None Thursday - Today we will do a special node count activity leading to a fascinting number sequence. Ask your child what we got. This concludes the branching patterns segment. We ended this segment by starting Fractals, The Colors of Infinity (a cool movie). HW - None Friday - Today we will finish watching the Fractals movie, Fractals, The Colors of Infinity. HW - None   8th Grade Computers 2 Plan for this week: This week: Students will finish and score their final project websites.
