It&#8217;s defined as, &#8220;the use of real-time <a title=\"Computer graphics\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Computer_graphics\">computer graphics<\/a> engines to create a cinematic production. Most often, <a title=\"Video game\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Video_game\">video games<\/a> are used to generate the <a title=\"Computer animation\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Computer_animation\">computer animation<\/a>.&#8221; (<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Machinima\">Wikipedia<\/a>) In other words you use some kind of screen capture to make a video of you playing a game. You use that video to share what you&#8217;re doing, how you beat a level, how you level up or to teach others how to do something in the game. It&#8217;s people helping people. I want to use this somehow in my classroom with my <a href=\"http:\/\/3dgamelab.com\/\">3DGL<\/a> quests.<\/p>\n<p>Here a quick, short machinima I made for a Teacher Camp in\u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/3dgamelab.com\/\">3DGL<\/a> with an avatar I created in Second Life:<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_Cxro4-nU-E?rel=0\" height=\"360\" width=\"480\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>And here&#8217;s a group of educators hanging out and building in Minecraft!<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ICReOcBSfaU?rel=0\" height=\"360\" width=\"480\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>How can you use this with your classes?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is machinima?
