\"Mr.<\/a>If students are still missing assignments that have been due since the end of the first trimester <\/font>I handed out progress reports today<\/strong><\/font>, on the last of 2007 for us, so that students can use their two-week Winter Break to get caught up and bring their grades up in Science.<\/font><\/p>\n

For 6th graders it’s the Salmon Life Cycle Webquest<\/a> that many students just let slide and never finished for homework like they were supposed to since November 26. Homework doesn’t go away so now I’ve asked them to finish their missing work over Winter Break. I don’t usually ask that but I don’t want students to stay behind and have low grades at midterm. Also some students didn’t take all the notes they should have when their classmates presented what they learned. If your child got a low grade on their PowerPoint notes they need to do some research and take notes of what they should have learned in class. I have all the Water Quality Websites<\/a> in one section.<\/font><\/p>\n

For 7th graders it’s the Plant Webquest Brochure<\/a>. That is still due for many of them. Please use the following Brochure Template in Word<\/a> to get this done. Don’t continue to be down 40 points or your grade will suffer all trimester. Seventh graders also need to get their Blog Assignment #4<\/a> done.
