Studies have shown that greenhouse gases<\/a> are causing damage to the Earth\u2019s atmosphere at an alarming rate, trapping heat and causing major changes to climate patterns all over the world. This, in turn, can lead to anything from drought to food shortages in coming<\/g> years, so it\u2019s imperative that we do everything we can to stop the effects of climate change in its tracks.

Fortunately, there are many things you can do at home to help, and they don\u2019t have to break the bank. \u201cGoing green\u201d is something many Americans have done in recent years, and while it can be a big lifestyle change, it\u2019s also something that allows you to save money<\/a> while helping the planet. Whether you want to conserve energy or grow your own food, now is the time to make those changes within your household and your community.
