Sixth graders have also started blogging so you can leave them comments by <a href=\"http:\/\/classblogmeister.com\/blog.php?blogger_id=4771\">clicking here<\/a>. You will also find 7th graders writing about what they&#8217;re learning in Science as well and they would also love to get comments. Now 6th graders are studying <a href=\"http:\/\/www.carolinacurriculum.com\/stcms\/modules\/EMM.asp\">Energy, Machines, and Motion<\/a>! They started by building their own battery (read <a href=\"http:\/\/classblogmeister.com\/blog.php?blogger_id=4771\">their blogs<\/a>). For the next couple of weeks we will be learning about how energy transfers and transforms by doing experiments with charging batteries. A website with extra credit possibilities can be found by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stcms.si.edu\/emm\/emm.htm\">clicking here<\/a>.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"4\">Seventh graders are making presentations to each other on the different stages of cell meiosis. Once they are done with those we will be starting our experiments on hydroponics vs soil planting. I&#8217;m really excited about finally starting that project.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"4\">I am updating <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csd49.org\/cms\/science_grades_2008\/\">Science grades<\/a> as often as I can so please check them regularly to stay on top of your grades.
