I would like to preface this post by affirming that what I did here, type a few words into a textbox and minutes later received a short video clip of what I typed, is nothing short of amazing. And it’s only getting better as these AI giants keep pushing the envelope. It’s daily that new records are broken as AI companies push out new, faster, better, more intelligently capable AI systems. So while I am harsh in my expectations and am critical of what I got, I am nonetheless impressed and awed by it.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve been testing out Sora<\/a> since I got access to it. I’m not sure if being a ChatGPT Plus subscriber gives me more videos on Sora<\/a> but so far I’ve been able to generate as many as I want (which isn’t much). [I checked and yes, Sora has me listed as a Plus member.<\/em>] I haven’t been very pleased with what I’ve generated with Sora<\/a>, especially the two videos I’m sharing in this post. I had 10 free credits on Veo<\/a> so I tried the same prompt on Veo<\/a> <\/a>that I used on Sora <\/a>to see how it compared. With 10 Veo 3 credits I was only able to generate one video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First prompt:
A group of Starfleet officers while conducting water quality tests on a small creek in the forest, run into two zombies. They try to stun them with the phasers as they run away trying not to harm the zombies.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
