MATHEMATICIAN
As a
Mathematician, I was particularly interested in the math, science, writing
system and calendar of the Maya. I found the Mayan citizens to be
very helpful and informative in sharing and teaching me.
HISTORIAN
I was
particularly interested in learning about the religious customs, folk tales
and history of the Maya. I was trained by their storytellers to be
able to re-tell some of their oral history.
ANTHROPOLOGIST
I was
amazed to see the pyramids! The designers and workers allowed me
to join them as they prepared to build a new temple.
ARCHEOLOGIST
The day
to day life of the Maya fascinated me the most. I was interested
in their views of beauty.
