Mr. González' Classes Homework
2nd Quarter Week 11 and 3rd Quarter Week 1, 1/29 to 2/2
(This may change from day to day depending on how much we actually get done in class so check back often to make sure something wasn't changed at the last minute. The second quarter ends this Monday. Students were given a progress report last week to make-up any work that was still missing. I will try to let students know this week what their final grade for the quarter will be. We will also be adding to our exit portfolios.)

Math, Course I (A Block)

Monday - We will review 5-6 quickly so that we can do 5-7 and 5-8 to finish Ch 5.

HW = Study Guides 5-7 and 5-8

Wednesday - We will review Ch 5, pgs 184 to 186. Students also received a Ch 5 test to practice. This practice test and the HW will be graded on Friday.

HW = p. 187, ALL.

Friday - Chapter 5 test.

 

 

 

Science 2 (B Block)

Monday - We will be reviewing our rock vocabulary as well as page 86 in the textbook.

Review peer editing expectations, peer edit first drafts of Geology prompt, then begin writing the second draft.

HW = Get permission slip signed by parent and finish any portion of the Geology prompt that was not finished in class (this was mentioned to students in class - the drafts must be done).

Wednesday - We will finish peer editing and writing second drafts of our Geology prompt. We will be beginning to work on our exit portfolio.

Beginning PowerPoint lesson to create the team presentation for the Geology prompt.

Friday - Working on the Geology prompt PowerPoint presentations. We will continue to update our exit portfolio.

Video Conference permission slips are due today.

Social Studies (C Block)

Tuesday - We have one more group left to practice their presentations. Then, we will begin final presentations for a grade.

Thursday - Today we will continue the electoral process project.

 

 

 

 

 

Science 3 (D Block)

Tuesday - We will finish our International Space Station Video then we will finish peer editing and writing second drafts of our Geology prompt.

Beginning PowerPoint lesson to create the team presentation for the Geology prompt if time permits.

HW = Get permission slip signed by parentand finish any portion of the Geology prompt that was not finished in class (this was mentioned to students in class - the drafts must be done).

Thursday - Teams will begin to work on their team portion of the Geology project by working on their PowerPoint presentations. Time will be given to work on the PowerPoint presentations. We need to begin to update our exit portfolio's as well.

Video Conference permission slips are due today.
