Homework due Thursday, September 8

Assignment: Draw a map of your home.

Must have:

1. Assignment is written down in planner.
2. Assignment is turned in on time.
3. Plain white paper – not lined.
4. Student name on the front of the map.
5. Legend to indicate meaning of symbols.
6. Compass rose to indicate North.
7. At least some coloring.
8. Map indicates your home.
9. Map shows how to get to nearest intersection, or farther.
10. Names of streets, roads.

Should have:

1. Decoration, such as a border design around map.
2. Landmarks indicated, such as library, Chimacum Café, parks.
3. Correct spelling.
4. Your bus stop, if you ride the bus.
