Introduction

Alfonso, Al, Gonzalez is Chimacum Elementary School’s 6th Grade STEM Teacher. Sixth grade Math & Science include a STEM Robotics curriculum making the course a real STEM experience! Al is a National Board Certified Teacher in the area of Early Adolescent Generalist who has been teaching for 34 years (28 of those years in Chimacum)!

Al was named the 2021 NCCE Outstanding Technology Educator of the Year and is his region's recipient of the 2022 EPA Presidential Innovation Award for Environmental Educators.
