Math, Course I Tuesday - Study Guide 2-8 and study for the Chapter 2 test. Study for Chapter 2 test by doing problems on pages 72 to 75. Thursday - No Homework, Chapter 2 Test today.

Science 2 (González) Tuesday - We will be working on the inclined planes actitivty for a while because students have to analyze the data they are collecting, then create a HyperStudio stack to share what they learned with others. HW is to read pages 33 to 37 and to answer the questions on p. 37. This is due Thursday. Thursday - HW is to read pages 38 to 42 and to answer the questions on p. 42. This is due Monday.

Social Studies Monday - Today we worked on our Día de los muertos and Halloween compare and contrast essay. Students are using 6-trait writing and following the writing process. Homework is to read pages 239 to 243 in the textbook and to answer the questions on p. 243 (A through D only). This is due on Wednesday. Wednesday (Early Release)- We are still working on our compare and contrast essays. I would like to continue our elections project (click here to see the websites we are using with this project) before election day, but that doesn't seem as if it's going to happen. Students are researching how the different candidates for president are dealing with some of the issues. Homework is to read pages 244 to 247 in the textbook and to answer the questions on p. 247 (A through C only). This is due on Friday. Friday - Homework is to read pages 248 to 252 in the textbook and to answer the questions on p. 252 (A through C only). This is due on Tuesday. Also, due next Thursday, Nov 2 (the second day of the dead holiday) is some form of artwork typical to the day of the dead. Students were given resources and ideas from the websites we used in class.

Science 3 (Bankhead) Monday - We finished Flight today by looking through the second flight activity websites. The paper airplane activities on the third activity is extra credit work.
