Tuesday - The
plan for this week is to practice for the ITBS as well since
we'll be taking the ITBS first. We will be using the Test
Alert booklet Level D.
HW - Will be sending home
the Ballard Locks field trip permission slip. They need to
get that slip signed by this Thursday so I know who's coming.
Parents, let me know if you can join us because we need six
parents to come with us so the kids can be chaperoned. It's
coming up next Friday and students who wish to skate need
to bring
$4 for skate rental. (Please make checks out to Highline
Ice Arena only.)
Wednesday - From
8am to 10am we will be off campus doing tree planting with
the North Olympic Salmon Coalition
(NOSC).
HW - None
Thursday - We
will continue with ITBS practice. We will start the ITBS
next week!
HW - None
Friday - Staff
Learning Improvement Day (LID), NO SCHOOL FOR KIDS!

Future plans: For
now we will continue practicing for the math ITBS and
the
math WASL. Once we are done with those we will have a
review quiz for Covering and Surrounding Investigations
1 through
4. We will then move on to Investigation 5, finish the
book and have the final test. I figure this whole process
will take us well into April. ITBS will happen during
March 14 to March 25, while the WASL will take place
during April. |

Science & Technology
Concepts for Middle School (STC/MS) kit on Organsisms: From Macro to Micro. It will be great
and I am piloting this kit to see if we want to buy it for
next year. My class is fortunate enough to be the ones who
actually get to try it (I spent Friday, 3/4, going through
the teacher's guide and it looks like a great kit! |
