HW/Daily Activities

Final progress reports with my final grades for the first trimester were handed out to students on Monday, Dec 5!

We will be having our tree planting field trip on Thursday, Dec 8. Make sure your permission slip is signed, filled out, and turned in!

Daily Schedule
1st per - Exploratory - 7:45am to 8:37am
1st Block (Periods 2 & 3) - Science and/or Social Studies - 8:41am to 10:29am
Eagle Time: 10:33am to 11:00am
Lunch - 11:00am to 11:32am
4th per - Band/Choir - 11:36am to 12:28pm
2nd Block (Periods 5 & 6) - Science and/or Social Studies - 12:32pm to 2:20pm

Social Studies:

Wednesday - We will continue to work on our Latin American project.
Today students really need to get Phase 2 well under way. Planning and preparing for Market Day needs to be done at home.
Second Step today (5th period).
HW - Plan what you and your team will be doing for Market Day.
Thursday - We will continue to work on our Latin American project.
During 5th and 6th periods we will be going to a section of Chimacum Creek next to Chimacum Creek Primary to help NOSC plant trees. This is part of NOSC's restoration plans along Chimacum Creek.
HW - Start making any appropriate crafts that you will sell on Market Day.

Science:

Monday - Today we will start with Day 1 of our yo-yo unit as we learn about the scientific method.
HW - Show your parents your progress report with your final grades! Get it signed and, you know it, I'll give you $20 in class money and return the progress report for your records.
Tuesday - Today we will go through Day 2 of our yo-yo unit as we study pendulums.
It was great today but we didn't have time to practice our yo-yo tricks that much.
HW - None
Friday - Today we will go through Day 3 of the yo-yo unit as we learn about flywheels.
We barely got to have some practice time but all kids got to try throwing a sleeper yo-yo to make it spin.
HW - Work on Market Day prep.
