1st per - Exploratory - 7:45am to 8:37am
1st Block (Periods 2 & 3) - Science and/or Social Studies - 8:41am to 10:29am
Eagle Time: 10:33am to 11:00am
Lunch - 11:00am to 11:32am
4th per - Band/Choir - 11:36am to 12:28pm
2nd Block (Periods 5 & 6) - Science and/or Social Studies - 12:32pm to 2:20pm

Social Studies:

Monday - No School - President's Day!
HW - None
Tuesday - I have a sub today while I attend the third cycle of my lesson study.
Students will have time to finish their Panama Canal brochures, then they will start the Famous Latinos and Latinas Biographies.
HW - Finish the Panama Canal scavenger questions if you haven't yet.
Friday - Today I will collect the Panama Canal scavenger hunt answers and I will collect the Famous Latinos and Latinas Biographies as well. Students had the entire block to work on their brochures. Some teams were done with brochures and worked on their biographies. We will finish the biographies next week.
The plan is to get back to our Aztec, Maya, and Inca WebQuest by next week.
HW - Depends on what is not yet done. Those who have missing work have homework.

Science:

Wednesday - Today we will do the EMM Lesson 7 reading. Then we will begin EMM Lesson 8 where we will learn how to calculate work!
During 3rd period students had their first of thirteen Project Alert lessons by a guest presenter. The first lesson really only consisted of a pre-test that students took, a survery that helps the county keep track of how well the program is doing. They will happen every Wednesday during 3rd period until the end of the year.
HW - None
Thursday - Today we will continue to work on EMM Lesson 8. We practiced calculating work by multiplying Force times Distance to get Work in Newton-meters (Joules).
