Mr. González' Classes Homework/ Daily Activities Week 3, 1/2 to 1/6

Social Studies: Tuesday - The plan is to finish any part of the Latin American project that we still need to finish. Some teams finished the Phase 2 project and others finished the Phase 2 written report. I will give teams time to get those two assignments done so that they can share what they learned with the rest of the class. HW - Please show your parents my January Newsletter. Also please bring your Blog Permission Slip in whether or not you can participate (I need to know). Wednesday - Second Step today (5th period). Today we are going to continue to work on Phases 2 and 3 of the Latin American project. I handed out some very important handouts today. To help students complete a Blog entry, I have a How To Blog sheet, to help them add information to our Wiki's I have a How to Edit a Wiki sheet. To score their own Latin American Country Research Reports I have an Evaluation Sheet, and to write about the sharing I have a Debrief Sheet. Finally, I gave them a Country Projects Items for them to tally off what they have on their projects. HW - Same as yesterday Future plans: We need to finish Phases 2 and 3 of the Latin America Project, then we will be able to continue to work on our Aztec, Maya, and Inca WebQuest.

Science: Monday - Still Winter Break - No School Today. HW - None Thursday - Today we wrapped up EMM Lesson 2, then we worked on EMM Lesson 3. HW - None Friday - Today we will finish EMM Lesson 3, then we'll start EMM Lesson 4. HW - None Future plans: For the next couple of months we will work on the Energy, Machines, and Motion kit.
