Mr. González' Classes Homework/ Daily Activities Week 9, 5/22 to 5/26

Social Studies: Tuesday - Students will continue to present their Phase 1 projects and handouts. If we have time, students will begin to work on their Phase 2 PowerPoint presentations. HW - By this time you should already know who your Trading Post teammates are and what each of you is responsible for having ready and done by Thursday. Wednesday - Today students will have time to finish their trading post signs, pay fees, and make sure they know what they need to do tonight to be ready for tomorrow. Students in my afternoon class will also be working on Phase 2 of our project. 3rd period - Project Alert with guest presenter, Kelly Matlock. HW - Have all your stuff (items, artifacts, food, etc) ready for tomorrow morning! Thursday - Canadian Trading Post in the morning. My afternoon class will get time to debrief the day, fill out and turn in their evaluation sheets, and maybe even work on their Phase 2 PowerPoints. I also met with my morning class to debrief the trading post event and to find out how much money their earned in maple leaf dollars for all their work on Phase 1. HW - None that I can think of :o)

Science: Monday - Web Design lessons continued as students finish their storyboards and start typing their notes into their websites. HW - Hood Canal Youth Summit (HCYS) information sheets: HCYS Outline of the day HCYS Photo Release Form HCYS Photo Contest Form Are any parents interested on going on this field trip? Let me know. Friday - Today students will be given some instruction on what to prepare for the Hood Canal Youth Summit. They will have time to create posters today that they will use to share the results from their water quality testing on the Hood Canal. HW - Progress Reports were sent home! Show your parents.
