Week 8, 5/21 to 5/25

Daily Schedule
1st per - 7:35am to 8:37am
2nd per - 8:41am to 9:33am
3rd per - 9:37am to 10:29am
Eagle Time - 10:33am to 11:00am
Lunch - 11:00am to 11:32am
4th per - 11:36am to 12:28pm
5th per - 12:32pm to 1:24pm
6th per - 1:28pm to 2:20pm

6th grade Science:

Monday - Students will be finishing up their job notes (to learn their topic), then students will put together a PowerPoint presentation to teach their classmates their job/topic. Those that finish early can work on the following Pollution Webquest for extra credit.

I have a sub today and tomorrow while I am off to my last science conference of the year.

HW - None

Tuesday - Last day to work on job notes and to finish the PowerPoints. Presentations will start tomorrow.

Wednesday - Today teams are starting to present their PowerPoints about their job/topic.

HW - None

Thursday - Teams are starting to present their PowerPoints about their job/topic.

HW - None

Friday - Teams are continuing to present their PowerPoints about their job/topic.

HW - None

 

7th grade Science:

Monday - Students are working on their Earth Movement websites.

I have a sub today and tomorrow while I am off to my last science conference of the year.

Tuesday - Same as Monday.

HW - None

Wednesday - Today students used Photobooth to work on their About Us page.

While at my science conference my WWU professor, a professor of Geology, said that he wanted to see our websites and that he'd write a comment for each team! Wow!

Friday - Same as Monday.

HW - None

 

 

 

7/8 grade Latin Exploration:

Monday through Friday - This week the 8th graders are off to their Odyssey field trip. The 7th graders will work on their webquests today and tomorrow while I'm off to my science conference. When I return on Wednesday we will film and upload a short Latin movie. Check our blog!
