Mr. González's Classes Homework/ Daily Activities Week 6, 10/6 to 10/10

6th grade Science: Monday - Today students continued to practing taking outline notes as I walked around helping and offering feedback and advice. Sixth period was working so well that I trained their film crew already. HW - None Tuesday - Today I am off to Math/Science meeting so I will have a sub. Students will continue taking notes on Ch 12, section 3 as well as completing this Freshwater Pollution Web Byte. HW - None Wednesday - Today students continued to work on their book notes as I train teams to do their water quality jobs. In 1st period I was able to train the film crew and start the Hach kit D.O. and Hardness teams. In 6th period I got a little farther with the Hach kit teams. HW - None Thursday - Same as yesterday. HW - None Friday - Same as Wednesday. HW - None

8th grade Science: Monday - Today we finished watching and scoring all the biome commercial movies. Students started to complete a self-assessment. HW - None Tuesday - Today I am off to Math/Science meeting so I will have a sub. Second and 5th periods will finish their self-assessment, 4th finished theirs, then all three classes will start taking notes on Ch 18, section 1, pg 596 on Climate and Climate Change. HW - None Wednesday - Today students continued to take notes on Ch 18, section 1. Those that finished the notes took their online Biomes Quiz first. Since we have ten computers students are taking their quiz one at a time. As students finish Ch 18, section 1 they will move on to section 2. HW - None Thursday - Students will continue to work on Ch 18 and take their online Biomes Quiz. HW - None Friday - Same as Thursday. HW - None
