HW/Daily Activities

(This may change from day to day depending on how much we actually get done in class so check back often to make sure something wasn't changed at the last minute.)

You can check my online progress reports anytime to see how your child is doing in my Science class and Monday, Oct 26, I will give each of my students a paper copy to take home. They can then turn work in to raise their grades before the end of the week for parent/student/teacher conferences.

1st per - 7:45am to 8:37am
2nd per - 8:41am to 9:33am
3rd per - 9:37am to 10:29am
Eagle Time - 10:33am to 11:00am
Lunch - 11:00am to 11:32am
4th per - 11:36am to 12:28pm
5th per - 12:32pm to 1:24pm
6th per - 1:28pm to 2:20pm

6th grade Science:

Monday - Today teams should be working on editing their freshwater pollution webquest brochures, but some teams are still typing. I was planning on showing teams how to copy and paste their work into their blogs today and how to upload pictures to their blog. If I can, I'll hold on that until tomorrow.
We need to be completely done with this by tomorrow!
HW - Anyone who is still not done answering the 11 webquest questions needs to finish it for homework.
All my students will get paper copies of their progress reports today (or you can check the online version anytime). If they get some work redone or turned in their grade can improve by conference time later this week.
Tuesday - Finish typing, copying and pasting to the blog, and uploading pictures to the blog by today. Then we can leave comments on each other's work and/or leave comments on other classes and tell them to look at our work.
HW - None
Wednesday - We didn't get to finish yesterday so students will still be working on copying and pasting to the blog, and uploading pictures to the blog. If they have time they can work on leaving comments and sharing their work.

Thursday - Parent/Teacher/Student conferences all day today on a drop in basis. We will be here from 8:30am to 8pm with meal breaks from 12pm to 1pm and 4:30pm to 5:30pm. See you there.

Friday - Today parent/teacher/student conferences go from 8:30am to 12noon. See you there.

7/8 grade Science:

Monday - After working on their biome videos last week since Wednesday student teams should be pretty well along so that they can finish filming and editing today and tomorrow.
We need to be completely done with this by tomorrow!
HW - Whoever is not yet done with their boime research notes really needs to get that done for homework.
