Mr. González's Classes Daily Activities Week 11, 6/7 to 6/11

6th grade Science: Monday - Today we will work on lesson 6, part 3 (inquiry 6.3) on testing how the surface area affects the friction force. Then students will work on their reflection questions. HW - None Tuesday - Today students continued working on inquiry 6.3. Once finished students had to answer questions 5 & 6 on p. 53 then work on the reflections questions A, B, and C. HW - Here's a copy of the questions and what their notebook should look like (student sheet 6.1 and 6.2 need to be glued in this section). Wednesday - Today students finished their reflection questions on p. 53 (all except period 3 who are about one day behind due to events that have taken place during 3rd period's time). Then students took a quiz to show what they know about friction. HW - None Thursday - Today we went over the quiz and students had a chance to respond to my written feedback. Then we discussed the questions to make sure everyone understood friction. We then began prepping for lesson 7 on the Force Exerted by a Motor. (Period 3 was working on sharing their 6.3 graphs then they began the reflection questions.) HW - None Friday - Today 1st and 6th period will work on lesson 7. Period 3 will not have Science today because of the 6th grade Track Meet. HW - None

7/8 grade Science: Monday - Today we will begin the weathering and erosion webquest presentations! HW - None Tuesday - Today teams did their weathering and erosion webquest presentations. HW - None Wednesday - Weathering and erosion webquest presentations continued. HW - None Thursday - Today we finished the we project then students filled out a project self assessment sheet. HW - None Friday - Today we will work on learning about the moon and its phases. HW - None
