Week 4, 4/18 to 4/22

(This may change from day to day depending on how much we actually get done in class so check back often to make sure something wasn't changed at the last minute.)

Daily Schedule
1st per - 7:45am to 8:37am
2nd per - 8:41am to 9:33am
3rd per - 9:37am to 10:29am
Eagle Time - 10:33am to 11:00am
Lunch - 11:00am to 11:32am
4th per - 11:36am to 12:28pm
5th per - 12:32pm to 1:24pm
6th per - 1:28pm to 2:20pm

6th grade Science:

Monday - Today we will work on lesson the 3 reflection questions.

HW - None

Tuesday - Today we will finish lesson 3 and begin lesson 4 to further investigate the relationship between charging times and how much energy batteries have.

HW - None

Wednesday - Today teams will work on the lesson 4 lab.

HW - None

Thursday - Today teams will finish the lesson 4 lab, then we will average the results, and everyone will graph the class averages.

HW - None

Friday - Today students will finish graphing the class averages. Then students will use the class averages and the graph to answer the reflection questions.

HW - None

 

8th grade Science:

Monday - Today as teams get their procedures approved by me they will begin their snail experiments. Teams will run as many trials as they can in this period to collect some good data and be able to draw conclusions from their data.

HW - None

Tuesday - Teams finished (well most of them) their snail experiments and some even started writing their conclusions.

HW - None

Wednesday - Today students will finish writing their conclusions to share on their blogs. We also have a packet on snails with questions to answer.

HW - None

Thursday - Today students have time to complete their snail packet questions, complete their experiment conclusions, complete their snail blog, and for those who get done read and comment on each other's blogs.

2nd period set the fish traps today.

HW - None

Friday - Today we will go over the answers to the snail question packet as well as take a look at our snail's heartbeats. Some students want to create a suitable habitat for our snails to breed so we'll see if we can do that too.

Students still need to complete their conclusions to share them on their blogs and to comment on each other's work.
