6th grade Science:
Monday - Note: I have 6th grade Science 1st, 5th, and 6th periods. The way that is working out is that I start the day's lesson with 5th and 6th period so that means 1st period will usually be one day behind. I wanted to mention that so that parents don't get upset if their 1st period child seems one day behind! Sorry for the confusion.
Today we will be starting to work on EMM lesson 6, Inquiry 6.2.

Tuesday - Today we will finish Inquiry 6.2. Then we will work on the Week 9 blogging challenge before we start Inquiry 6.3.

Wednesday - Today students will get some time to finish their Week 9 Blogging Challenge Blogs. Then we will begin to work on Inquiry 6.3.

Thursday - Today we will finish Inquiry 6.3 so that students can begin to work on the lesson 6 reflection questions to think about what they learned.

Friday - Today we will go over the lesson 6 reflection questions.

8th grade Science:
Monday - Today students will continue to get their procedures approved so they can start their snail experiments. Those who collected data with their snails on Friday will be collecting more data today. Students are investigating land snail behavior as they design their own experiments.

Tuesday - Today my 3rd period students will be taking the Science MSP test and my 4th period students will be working on their Odyssey Totem group activities.

Wednesday - Today student teams need to wrap up their snail experiments so they can start to write their conclusions.
HW - None
Thursday - Today 3rd period will get to finish their snail conclusions. Fourth period will be working on their Odyssey Totem group activities.

Friday - Today we will begin an exploration of the Elwha Dams activity to learn how dams affect ecosystems and what happens when they are taken down.
