Daily Schedule
1st per - 7:45am to 8:37am
2nd per - 8:41am to 9:33am
3rd per - 9:37am to 10:29am
Eagle Time - 10:33am to 11:00am
Lunch - 11:00am to 11:32am
4th per - 11:36am to 12:28pm
5th per - 12:32pm to 1:24pm
6th per - 1:28pm to 2:20pm
6th grade Science:
Monday - Note: I have 6th grade Science 1st, 5th, and 6th periods. The way that is working out is that I start the day's lesson with 5th and 6th period so that means 1st period will usually be one day behind. I wanted to mention that so that parents don't get upset if their 1st period child seems one day behind! Sorry for the confusion.
Today we will be finishing EMM lesson 6, including the lesson 6 blog.
Students can also work on the Week 9 Blogging Challenge.
HW - Bring your June 1st field trip permission slip signed by a parent (and tell Mr. G if your parent is going to join us as a chaperone on the 1st).
Tuesday - Today students will be completing their lesson 6 blogs and this week’s blogging challenge so that we can start the Week 10 Blogging Challenge, which will be our last week participating in this global challenge.
HW - Same as Monday
Wednesday - Today we will finish working on the blogging challenge as we begin an energy transformation review.
I will show students how to make energy transfer diagrams. Then we will practice.
HW - Same as Monday
Thursday - Today students I will show students how to show what they understand about energy transformations and forces (elastic, gravity and friction so far) by creating a glog.
HW - Same as Monday, the permission slip is due because Mr. G won’t be here Friday or next week since he’ll be going to Odyssey with the 8th grade.
Friday - Today we are on an Early Release schedule. I have a sub today because I need to attend a Science end of the year Teacher Leader meeting in Bremerton.
Today students will continue to work with the energy and forces as they create glogs or animations to put on their blogs.
HW - None unless you still need to turn in your signed field trip permission.
8th grade Science:
Monday - Today 8th graders will be exploring the topics that we will be living during the Odyssey experience (Block 9 on our 8th grade Moodle webpage has the links to each topic).
HW - None
Tuesday - Today my 3rd period class will be taking the Math MSP and my 4th period class will be working on Odyssey totem group work.
HW - None
Wednesday - Today both 3rd and 4th period will be working on Odyssey totem group work.
HW - None
Thursday - Same as yesterday.

Friday - Today we are on an Early Release schedule. I have a sub today because I need to attend a Science end of the year Teacher Leader meeting in Bremerton.

We will also be checking in their luggage for the Odyssey trip.
