The
$12,208 (due to budget cuts, we lost $1,926.00) from
Year 3 (2005-2006) was spent on the following:
So far:
A Canon Rebel XT Digital Camera! It
came with an 18 to 55mm lens and I purchased a camera
bag for it along with a 75 to 300mm telephoto zoom
lens. I also purchased a 1GB CF media card for the
Rebel along with a USB PQI Reader/Writer. We're ready
to go!
A Canon ZR200 Digital Camcorder (this will be our third).
I also purchased extra
batteries for all our cameras so that my second class
doesn't come in to a dead battery.
An Elmo document camera for students to share work!
I've also purchased more
toner and fuser oil for my QMS Magicolor 2 laser
printer and extra tripods and monopods for the new
camera and camcorder.
A waterproof case for
the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT so that we can keep
it dry out on the field!!
And another waterproof
case for the Canon GL-2 camcorder! These two cases
were purchase at KeepItDryCases.Com and they had
the best cases for the best prices I could find anywhere
for non-professional use. Most other places sold
professional waterproof cases ranging anywhere from
$1,400 to $4,000! These two were around $400 and
less!!
I also had to spend $150
to fix the first camcorder I ever bought because
a mini-dv tape got stuck in it!
A second Titanium Powerbook.
A Surber Sampler with
a 500 micron mesh net.
More blank CD's and DVD's,
bubble mailers and cases.
I got aprons and goggles
for the students.
I purchased another DO
and pH sensor as well as TI-73 calculators to use
with the LabPro sensor interface. I also got a CO2
and an O2 sensor.
