This is midterm week. Midterm is a chance for kids to see what they are missing so they can make it up. Although it is best to stay caught up, if your child has fallen behind he or she must catch up quickly. November 29 is the end of the 1st Trimester but we want all our children to catch up early so they aren’t trying to catch up in late November. That doesn’t work for anyone (students, parents, teachers).
If students have fallen behind in Science it is because they are not doing homework. Read my homework post to see what I mean by homework. I will try to have progress reports for all students by Friday, Oct 12, or by Monday, Oct 15, at the latest.
Then I’d love to see you on Wednesday, Oct 17, for our Parent/Teacher/Student conferences. I see around 120 students a day and last year there was a line when wanting to talk to me. I apologize in advance for the wait, we’ll just have to keep it short :o)
