Crangonyx (family Crangonyctidae) looks similar to Gammarus and Anisogammaridae. The first antennae are longer than the second and eyes are usually present. For those that have eyes, the extra filament that sticks out near the base of the first antennae is short, never more than 2 segments. The plate on the last segment is M shaped with a split in the middle, but the split never goes all the way to the bottom.
