This WebQuest asks students to think about heat transfer as it relates to their every day lives and to think of ways to improve energy efficiency in their homes.

Introduction

By now, you are familiar with the three types of heat transfer: radiation, conduction, and convection. But how are these processes personally relevent to you? Where does heat transfer occur in your daily environment? Is there anything that you can do to improve or reduce the amount of heat transfer that occurs around you?

This WebQuest will help you find answers to the above questions. It will connect what you have learned about heat transfer with your every day life, specifically your home environment. Let's get started!
