6th Grade Science
Monday -
Today I will show students
how to login on the class computers and we will discuss the norms
for using computers in science. Once students are done with their
book notes, they will move to the Internet
notes to learn more
about their specific topic.

Tuesday -
Today we practiced taking
Cornell style notes using one
of the websites they will need
to study.

Wednesday
- Today
students will continue to work on taking notes on Ch.
12, section 1 and 3 using the outline
format (this is the research stage that falls between the Stating
the Problem and Making a Hypothesis parts of the scientific
method).
Today is an
early release so classes are only 34 minutes short! I handed
every student a progress report today to keep them informed
of their progress thus far. Please ask your child to see
it.
HW - If your child is on one
of the groups going tomorrow or Friday, please feel free to join us. The
first classes will leave at about 8am and the second classes will leave
at about 9:50am.
Thursday
(Block Schedule for Langston and Meacham) - Today,
we will all visit the creek. Some probe teams need to collect
more data. The fecal coliform bacteria group will run their lab
today as well as the water hardness group and any others that
didn't finish last week.
HW - If
your child is on one of the groups going tomorrow, please feel

class will leave at about 9:50am.
Friday (

Today, we will all
