Lunch - 11:00am to 11:32am
4th per - 11:36am to 12:28pm
5th per - 12:32pm to 1:24pm
6th per - 1:28pm to 2:20pm

6th grade Science:

Monday - Today we will continue to practice how to use the SCAN-n-RUN reading strategy using our science textbook Ch 12, section 1, page 394.
Once we are done, we will start learning how to take notes using an outlining format.

Tuesday - Today we finished our SCAN-n-RUN reading strategy and began practicing how to take notes from our textbook in outlining format.
HW - None
Wednesday - Students have been fully trained on taking notes in outline format. Now it is up to small teams to work together on their notes while I take on a team at a time to train them on their water quality jobs!
HW - None
Thursday - Today we have an early release and I will see my 1st period class for an hour this morning.
Student teams will contiue taking notes while I keep training other teams.
Student-led conferences this afternoon and evening! See some of you there :o)

Friday - Today is also an early release and I will see my 2nd and 4th period classes today for an hour each.

7th grade Science:

Monday - Today we will finish our earthquake P and S wave activity by going over the answers (Friday's homework was to finish it if you didn't finish in class because too many students were not using their class time to work).
Then students will get to work on the next section of their Earth Movement project.
HW - None
Tuesday - As part of the Earth Movement project, students are working on defining the boundaries along their plate.
Teams are sharing what they believe is happening at their plate boundaries. The rest of the class has a chance to ask questions and decide if they agree with other teams, especially if they share that boundary.

Wednesday - Teams continued to share today.
HW - None
Thursday - Today teams finished sharing so we started working on the questions at the end of the packet.
HW - None
Friday - I don't see my 7th graders today because we had 3rd period yesterday and not today.
