As summer comes to an end we are getting ready for another wonderful school year. This year I have this blog to update families of things related to my Science classes including my weekly, and sometimes daily, updated homework/daily activities webpages. I will also use a new Moodle site I created for students to use in class. And I also have the class blog for students to use to show what they learn in Science and to share with kids all over the world. I have added an RSS feed option to my homework/daily activities section, my podcasts and my teacher and student blogs, and even my moodle site. Using RSS feeds makes keeping up with changes to my websites easy. Instead of having to check back whenever you remember you just subscribe to all of them using your favorite RSS Reader and you only need to check your reader to see if I or the students have updated any of our websites (click here to see a video that shows you how to set this up). Checking your reader to see our updates either every Friday or every Monday will help families stay caught up in Science.
