Yes! I printed out another updated progress report so that all students can have great midterm grades in Science. I gave every class ideas on how to make up work, redo work, or do extra credit so there can be no excuses for low midterm grades. And this after asking students to make work up over the Winter Break (only a very few actually did).
I have been back in my groove after switching back to my old grading program. Using Skyward has been dreadfully slow and inefficient so a group of middle and high school teachers are looking into using a better grading program that will still allow online access for parents. So I’ve done just that with a program called Easy Grade Pro. All my Science progress reports are posted online already! Just go to http://www.csd49.org/cms/science_grades_2008/ and follow the directions. That’s it!
