Daily Activities
Week 6, 10/8 to 10/11
(Progress reports were sent home this week parents, so make sure you saw how your child is doing in science (everything on the progress report can still be made up. I believe that we are all off to a great start and it will just keep getting better.)

Blocks A/B

Monday - Students are going to continue to work on their writing prompt. We are still researching Mt. Saint Helens and Mt. Rainier. Once students are done, they will begin to write their first drafts.

HW - None today.

Wednesday - We will begin today by watching a video on Mt Saint Helens for students to take notes.

Then students will continue to work on their writing prompt.

HW - None today (unless a student can and would like to bring a small amount of molasses or cornstarch).

Friday - 10/12, today, is a staff inservice day. There is no school today for students!

Blocks C/D

Tuesday - We will begin today by watching a video on Mt Saint Helens for students to take notes.

Then students will continue to work on their writing prompt.

HW - None today (unless a student can and would like to bring a small amount of molasses or cornstarch).

Thursday - Writing prompt research needs to be done today. Students may begin writing the first draft in class.

HW - Write the first draft, which is due on Tuesday first thing. Students need to turn in the notes along with the first draft.

Computers 2

This week: Students are all done with their PowerPoint presentations where they shared their ideas for their websites. For the remainder of the quarter, students will be working on getting their websites created using the programs we have available.
