Blocks A/B Monday - We will watch Bill Nye's video on Lakes and Ponds. Students will take notes using the Video Debrief Sheet I provide. Then we will watch an A&E biography on a featured scientist: Carl Sagan, astronomer. HW - Those who were absent or missed filling out the video debrief sheet, visit the class websites for links to streams (instead of lakes and ponds) and for links about Carl Sagan to write a summary for make-up. Wednesday - There will be no Second Step this week. Finish PowerPoints and prepare for the practice presentation. Some groups had the time to do their practice presentation today. HW - Rehearse your part for the practice presentation. Friday - Today will be a half day. Continue practice presentations. Here are the groups that presented already: A block - Raspberry, Blueberry, Kiwi, First, Guava. B Block - Raspberry, Blueberry, Lime.
