Mr. González' Classes Homework/ Daily Activities Week 5, 2/25 to 3/1 (This may change from day to day depending on how much we actually get done in class so check back often to make sure something wasn't changed at the last minute.) The 2/28 Ballard Locks field trip for C and D blocks was rescheduled to 3/19. This is midterm week, students will receive their official progress report on Monday (C/D) and Tuesday (A/B) of next week. Blocks A/B Monday - We will start with a short video on the Rock Cycle. Then students will work on their water quality research. HW - What's the Risk of an Earthquake sheet from p. 172 in the textbook (textbook NOT needed). This is due Friday, 3/1. Wednesday - We will start with a short video called Rocks and Minerals (Rev). Then students will work on their water quality research. B block did not meet today so they will not get to watch today's video. Our evacuation prevented our meeting on schedule. HW - Work on What's the Risk of an Earthquake sheet from p. 172 in the textbook if it's not finished yet. Friday - We will start with a short video, Rocks and Minerals (a different one). Then we will go over the What's the Risk of an Earthquake sheet from p. 172 in the textbook sheet and correct it. Then students will work on their water quality research.   HW - Nothing assigned, students may do extra credit work or find other water/soil info to help their research. Blocks C/D Tuesday - We will watch a video on the Rock Cycle. Then students will work on their water quality research. Also, parents please come to tonight's Eagle Night from 7pm to 8pm at the Middle School so your child can show what she or he is doing at school! D block did not have any time to work on their research due to the evacuation we had today. They did get to watch the video. Computers 2 This week: This week students will work on their practice website using Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash.
