Mr. González' Classes Homework/ Daily Activities Week 6, 3/4 to 3/8 (This may change from day to day depending on how much we actually get done in class so check back often to make sure something wasn't changed at the last minute.) Students received an updated Progress Report Mon and Tues. This is the official mid-quarter Progress Report. For those receiving a C or worse, a copy of the progress report will be mailed home later this week. So far, any assignment may be made up. Blocks A/B Tuesday - We will start with a short video, Rock Odyssey. Then students will work on their water quality research. HW - The Ogallala Aquifer sheet from p. 410 in the textbook (textbook NOT needed). This is due Monday, 3/11. Thursday - We will start with a short video on Rocks. Then students will work on their water quality research. HW - Work on The Ogallala Aquifer sheet from p. 410 if it's not finished yet. Blocks C/D Monday - We will start with a short video, Rock Odyssey. Then we will go over the What's the Risk of an Earthquake sheet from p. 172 in the textbook sheet and correct it. Then students will work on their water quality research. D block did not have time to work on their research today, instead we had a student present her collection of cool rocks. HW - The Ogallala Aquifer sheet from p. 410 in the textbook (textbook NOT needed). This is due Friday, 3/8. Wednesday - Students will work on their water quality research today. HW - Work on The Ogallala Aquifer sheet from p. 410 if it's not finished yet. Friday - We will go over the The Ogallala Aquifer sheet from p. 410 in the textbook sheet and correct it. Then students will work on their water quality research. Little book and textbook notes were collected today for a grade. HW - None this weekend. Computers 2 This week: Students will be working on their practice websites still. So far, they should be learning how to create an animated introduction, they should have fancy buttons, and they will soon be able to understand the HTML language itself to make any necessary changes or alterations.
