6th Grade Science
Monday -
Textbook notes, Ch.
12, section 1 and 3 using the outline
format, due by Wednesday for this quarter's report card.
Teams that are done with their textbook notes are beginning their Internet
Notes (which aren't due until December).
HW - Catch
up on textbook notes. (I only have a few books to loan
out and students are taking turns borrowing them, and students
are coming in at lunch and/or after school to work on their
notes if they have fallen behind).

due today for a grade. This grade will be part of the first quarter
overall, report card grade.

Thursday
(Block Schedule for Langston and Meacham) - We
are beginning a new unit on Plate Tectonics, which will be taught
by Robin Mills who is doing her student teaching with us.
We will also
begin fish trapping this week. Today 3rd period will set
the traps.

Friday (
Block Schedule for Olafson and Cortez) -
We are beginning a
new unit on Plate Tectonics, which will be taught by Robin Mills
who is doing her student teaching with us.
We will also
begin fish trapping this week. Today 4th period will retrieve
the traps and see if we caught any fish. We did! We caught
(and returned to the creek) two lovely cutthroat trout.
