Mr. González' Classes
Homework/Daily Activities
Week 9, 6/7 to 6/11
(This may change from day to day depending on how much we actually get done in class so check back often to make sure something wasn't changed at the last minute.)

6th Grade Science

Monday - Project Alert.

HW - Read the yellow sheet (Ten Questions Teenagers Ask Most About Drugs - and Their Answers), do the tan sheet (Oral Report on Drugs), then ask a parent to fill out and sign the white sheet (Oral Report on Drugs - Family Evaluation Form). Last week's homework was due today. And please look for any science books and bring them to me.

Tuesday - 6th Grade Track and Field Day.

HW - Whatever you are missing. And please look for any science books and bring them to me.

Wednesday - 6th Grade Track and Field Day was cancelled due to rain. Instead we will reflect on what we learned this year and fill out a survey. Then students will do a Tarantula WebQuest in honor of Sheila and Bubbles!

HW - Whatever you are missing. And please look for any science books and bring them to me.

Thursday - It rained again today, so we couldn't have our track meet. I handed out progress reports today and reminded students that all late work is due by tomorrow.

I passed out the Space Day 2004 Design Challenge awards!

Then students worked on the Tarantula WebQuest.

HW - Whatever you are missing, last chance. And please look for any science books and bring them to me.

Friday - If it doesn't rain today, we will have our track meet. Well, it rained and was quite wet in the morning.

We finished the Tarantula WebQuest (if you didn't finish it, it is your homework to get it done).

HW - Whatever you are missing, last chance (which means that today is the deadline for any and all missing or late assignments, extra credit too). And please look for any science books and bring them to me.

8th Grade Web Design

Plan for this week:
Students have their website scoring rubric so they know what I'm looking for. I have taught them everything I know about Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash. So for the remainder of the quarter they are working on their websites making them as great as they can be. Click here to see the requirements for the project.

See the students' websites as they begin uploading them!

Email me if you have any questions or concerns.
