Mr. González' Classes Homework/ Daily Activities Week 9, 2/13 to 2/17

Social Studies: Wednesday - Today is an Early Release day so students will be dismissed at 11:20am. We will continue to work on our Panama Canal project brochures today. Students will have time next Tuesday to finish those. I will then print each student his or her own copy so that he or she can put this into their Eagle Time portfolio in preparation for Student Led Conferences! HW - Make sure your field trip permssion is turned in along with the money for the skate rental. Thursday - Ballard Locks Field Trip (from 7:45am to 3:45pm)! We had a great day with perfect weather. Thank you to all the parent chaperones who helped make this day a great one for our kids. HW - None

Science: Monday - Today we will continue to work on EMM Lesson 7. We will try to finish parts 7.2 and start 7.3. At the end of part 7.3 we will look at the difference bewteen connecting batteries in series vs connecting batteries in parallel (site #1 and site #2). Tuesday - Today we will keep working on EMM Lesson 7 . We got through writing the problem, hypothesis, variables, materials, and procedure to part 7.3. Some teams even got to do their lab. Friday - Today we will try to finish EMM Lesson 7. We need to finish part 7.3, which includes the conclusion, so that students can complete part 7.4. HW - None
