HW/Daily Activities

(This may change from day to day depending on how much we actually get done in class so check back often to make sure something wasn't changed at the last minute.)

Daily Schedule
1st per - Exploratory - 7:45am to 8:37am
1st Block (Periods 2 & 3) - Science and/or Social Studies - 8:41am to 10:29am
Eagle Time: 10:33am to 11:00am
Lunch - 11:00am to 11:32am
4th per - Band/Choir - 11:36am to 12:28pm
2nd Block (Periods 5 & 6) - Science and/or Social Studies - 12:32pm to 2:20pm

Science:

Monday - Today we will work on finishing our water quality websites. They really need to be finished by tomorrow!
HW - Show your parents your progress report!
Tuesday - Students should try to have their websites finished by today. I have instructed them on doing the most important parts of their webs first so if they don't finish their glossaries, bibliographies, or about us pages their websites can still be information and useful.
HW - None
Wednesday - Today students need to make finishing touches very quickly so that I can begin to upload their websites! When they're done you can view them by going to our Student Work section.
Today I will see each class for one period during the morning because we will be having a students vs staff softball game in the afternoon during 5th and 6th periods. If it rains, we'll be playing volleyball.
HW - All the websites were uploaded today! Check them out at Student Work section.
Thursday - Today we will have our staff vs students basketball game in the morning. In the afternoon there will be student basketball competitions (three point shot, dribbling, etc.).
Today students took some time to fill out a Project Self-Assessment sheet and then they scored their website and some of their fellow students' websites. I also gave everyone a CD with the water quality movie and pictures of our year together. Check out their websites at the Student Work section.
If you have problems viewing the CD I sent home, just go to apple.com and click on the Quicktime tab. Follow the instructions to download Quicktime for the PC or for the Mac. Then you can view and enjoy :o)

Friday - Last Day of School! Early Release at 11:20am. Today we will have our End of the Year Slideshow, Talent Show, Departmental Awards, and BBQ!
